41st (Hampshire) Company, Imperial Yeomanry.

Herbert Harris was born in the Parish of Bishop Middleham, Durham. A Brickmaker by occupation, he attested for short service in the Imperial Yeomanry on 24 January 1901, aged 25 years. Posted to the 41st (Hampshire) Company Imperial Yeomanry, he served in South Africa, February 1901-August 1902. Sold with copied service papers and roll extracts.
