Walter Norman Halford enlisted at Southampton. Serving with the 2/5th Battalion Hampshire Regiment, he died of wounds in Egypt on 9 April 1918, aged 20 years. He was buried in the Ramleh War Cemetery. Walter Norman Halford was the son of Sarah Maria Halford of 17 Andersons Road, Chapel, Southampton and the late William Halford. With copied research.
