George Arthur Norris Robertson was promoted Captain on 10 March 1915 and appointed Adjutant of the 2nd Battalion in June 1915. He served at Gallipoli from September to December 1915 before proceeding to France. He was killed in action at Langemarck, 3rd Ypres, on 16 August 1917, and is buried in Artillery Wood Cemetery, Boezings, Belgium.
