Three: Corporal W. P. Wilson, Canadian Railway Troops, late Imperial Yeomanry

William Percy Wilson was born in Sunderland, Co. Durham, England on 4 May 1877. During the Boer War he served as a Private in the 15th (Northumberland) Company, 5th Battalion Imperial Yeomanry. He later moved to Canada and during the Great War was employed as a Clerk living at 453 Bathurst Place, Toronto. He attested for the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force at Toronto on 15 January 1917. With the 257th Battalion C.E.F. he arrived in England on 27 February 1917 and was posted to the 7th C.R.T. in France on 29 March 1917. Returning to Canada he was discharged in March 1919.
