I.D.S.M. awarded re G.G.O. 2457 of 1919 for his services on the N.W. Frontier.

M.I.D. awarded re G.G.O. 1846 of 1920.

The I.D.S.M. to Umar was the only one to be awarded to a member of the Mohmand Militia during the period 1907-22. Note: the recipient is known to have been awarded a replacement I.D.S.M.
