The Gloucestershire Regiment 3rd Militia Battalion Officers’ Mess Dinner Plate. An extremely fine and scarce example (22.5 cms), the white ground decorated around the rim in rich blue and gold, the central reserve shows the regimental badge in gold blue and scarlet, this being the Royal crest over an oval strap ‘Gloucester Regiment’, in the centre the Sphinx/Egypt/3rd. The reverse marked ‘Cauldon Ltd., England’. c. 1883 - 1901, very fine condition £250-350
