Comprising a cased Hall Marked silver dish issued to mark the Silver Jubilee of Her Majesty the Queen Colonel-in-Chief The Royal Welsh Fusiliers, this being number 20 in a limited edition of 250 complete with Major W. J. Lumsden’s hall marked silver identity wrist strap, combined weight 86.5 gms. A silver presentation cigarette box hall marked Birmingham 1959 engraved ‘Presented to Brigadier M. F. Farquharson-Roberts C.B.E. by the Yeovil Branch R.A.S.C. Assn. on his retirement as Controller 30.4.61’ (199 gms including wooden liner). Together with a silver plated salver engraved with the badge of the Scots Guards and ‘Presented to our President Brigadier E.B.W. Cardiff, C.B, C.B.E. from members & Wives, Scots Guards Association South Western Branch October 1981’, good overall condition (3) £120-160
