Able Seaman George Moore, H.M.S. Simoom, rescued Richard Cram and a boy from the same vessel, from the waters of Trincomalee Harbour, Bombay, on 13 July 1858. Cram accidentally fell overboard and sank whilst bathing. Moore jumped overboard on both occasions and rescued them. (R.H.S. Case No. 16,320)
