The Most Exalted Order of the Star of India, C.S.I., Companion’s, neck badge, gold and enamel, with central cameo of a youthful Queen Victoria, the motto of the Order set in rose diamonds, suspended from a five-pointed silver star and ring suspension, complete with neck cravat, in its Garrard, London case of issue, inside of lid inscribed, ‘E. W. Perry’, nearly extremely fine £3500-4500

With the C.S.I. bestowal document to Edward William Perry, C.I.E., Indian Civil Service Reconstruction Commission and Secretary to Government Reconstruction Department Bombay, dated 1 January 1946; with associated letter from the Central Chancery and a copied group photograph.
