Patrick O’Connor landed in France on 17 December 1915 with the 6th (Service) Battalion Connaught Rangers. He later transferred to the Labour Corps.

Thomas Plunkett landed with the 2nd Battalion Royal Irish Fusiliers at Le Havre on 19 December 1914. From January 1915 to June 1915 the Battalion suffered over 250 casualties, Thomas Plunkett was promoted Acting Corporal, awarded the Silver War Badge and discharged.

Arthur Parker enlisted into the Royal Dublin Fusiliers on the 25
th October 1915. He was discharged with a Silver War Badge on 3t December 1918.

George James Gatward, a Baker’s Journeyman, living in Leytonstone, Essex attested for the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers on 9 December 1915, aged 35 years. He joined his regiment in Salonika but contract dysentery. In June 1917 he was transferred to 968 Company, Labour Corps.

Hamilton Wilson Murdock joined the 4th (Reserve) Battalion Royal Inniskillen Fusiliers on 10 September 1912, aged 17 years. He was embodied at Omagh on 6 August 1914 and served initially in Lough Swilley and Buncrana. On 1 February 1915 he deserted but was arrested and sentenced to 35 days detention. He then joined the 5th Battalion Royal Inniskillen Fusiliers in Salonika and Palestine with the 10th Division. In June 1918 he returned with the 5th Battalion, which became part of 198 Bde 66th Division. On 7 October 1918 at the Battle of Cambrai he was shot by a bullet, which entered the left side of his chest and elbow. Transferred to the Special Reserve on 17 March 1919.

James McHugh landed in France with Royal Irish Regiment on 17
tDecember 1915 thus qualifying for the 1914-15 Star; he subsequently transferred to the Royal Irish Fusiliers. All with copied m.i.c.
