Eglintine who made the supreme sacrifice for his country in the Great War 1914-1919, nearly extremely fine (4) £200-250

Private Alfred Peacock Eglintine was born and enlisted in South Shields. He was killed in action France and Flanders 1 July 1916 on the first day of the Battle of the Somme. He is buried at Serre Road Cemetery, France.
