Snow, D.C.M., Manchester Regiment, comprising Distinguished Conduct Medal, G.V.R.; 1914 Star, with clasp; British War and Victory Medals, with M.I.D. oak leaf, G.S.M. 1918-62, 1 clasp, Iraq; I.G.S. 1908-35, 1 clasp, Burma 1930-32; Jubilee 1935; Coronation 1937; Army L.S. & G.C., G.V.R.; Army M.S.M., G.V.R., obverses a little polished, otherwise very fine (10) £80-100

D.C.M. London Gazette 11 March 1916 ‘For conspicuous gallantry and devotion; he, with great bravery and determination carried a wounded man to a place of safety under heavy shell fire.’
