Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 5 clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal, S.A. 1901, S.A. 1902 (6551 Pte. J. Pierce, Lanc. Fus.) edge bruises, otherwise good very fine £60-70

Sold with various original documents including two group photographs, discharge certificates and Soldier’s Small Book, these all pre-1914, and various Great War documents relating to his service in the Warwickshire Regiment. It should be noted that his surname is correctly spelt ‘Pearce’ and that his initials should be ‘G. W.’ for George William. His service documents contain a variety of conflicting spellings.
