Afghanistan 1878-80, no clasp (B/687 Pte. T. Green, 66th Foot) initial officially corrected, otherwise extremely fine £300-400

B/687 Private Green was killed in action at Maiwand on 27 July 1880, but the casualty roll gives his first name as William. There was a Thomas Green, regimental number ‘1339’, who was severely wounded at Maiwand.
