Henry Dagger was born at Bolton and enlisted there on 17 June 1969, aged 19 years. He served overseas in the Sraits Settlements from January 1872, China from December 1872, Straits Settlements again from February 1876, and in South Africa from January 1877 until May 1880. He was discharged in July 1889 and is also entitled to the I.G.S. Medal with clasp for Perak and the L.S. & G.C. Medal which he received in 1889. Sold with copy service papers which verify medals and clasps.
