A Great War Period Smoking Pipe, the walnut bowl engraved with Welsh Regiment cap badge and battle honours for ‘Dardanelles, Mesopotamia, Baghdad, Kut-El-Amara’, additionally engraved with a shield bearing the initials ‘H.V.P.’, with silver band, hallmarks for Birmingham 1906; together with a bronze officer’s collar badge of the Welsh Regiment, good condition (2) £30-50

Attributed to Captain H. V. Palin, M.C. who served with the Welsh Regiment during the Great War.
