Alexandra, Princess of Wales’s Own (Yorkshire Regiment), a most unusual badge being a brass shield shaped back plate with white metal mounts, the Garter Proper enclosing the Coronet and Dannebrog, below this a scroll inscribed ‘PRINCESS OF WALES’S OWN’, with a further scroll below inscribed ‘THE YORKSHIRE REGIMENT’, fitted with a stout vertical pin fastener and made by Hobson’ & Sons London (9.5cm x 8.2cm) usage unknown; together with an other ranks two part brass QVC helmet plate 1881-1901 (KK287/308); an other ranks shoulder title ‘YORK’ and a part shoulder title, being a brass coiled bugle horn inscribed ‘YORKSHIRE’ very good overall condition (4) £100-120
