18th Century Tokens, Staffordshire, Tamworth, John Harding, uniface trial of an unfinished obv. die intended for a Penny, outline of castle, roof line on building to right of central tower sharply defined, edge on demand i promise to pay the bearer one penny, 26.72g (DH 6 bis, this piece). Spot above left side of building, otherwise extremely fine and much as made, of the highest rarity
