Private Albert Read, King’s Own Scottish Borderers entered the France/Flanders theatre of war in December 1914. Awarded the M.M. for bravery in the field. Later served in the Highland Light Infantry. The recipient came from Manchester. With copied m.i.c. and gazette extract.
