Associated with the group, the recipient and the disbandment of the battalion are substantial elements derived from the Regimental Colours of the 2nd Battalion Royal Dublin Fusiliers - these in cloth, bullion and wire and now attached to a large blue silk backing, consist of the Royal crown, the legend, ‘Spectamur Agendo’, the fused grenade, the battalions name scroll, the ‘Plassey/ Tiger’, the ‘Mysore /Elephant, shamrock sprays, and ‘[1]914’,
the elements showing some wear and tear.
