George Greasley enlisted into the Royal Fusiliers on 2 November 1914. Serving with one of the ‘Sportsmans’ Battalions he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 22 December 1915. He was discharged due to sickness on 9 October 1916 and was awarded the Silver War Badge. With copied service notes.
