Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 4 clasps, Relief of Kimberley, Paardeberg, Transvaal, Driefontein (Lieut., 2 Rl. Fus.); King’s South Africa 1901-02, 2 clasps (Lieut, Rl. Fusrs.); together with a mounted pair of miniature dress medals, these with contact marks and edge bruising, fine; full-size medals good very fine (4) £280-320

Francis Vernon Brudenell Kirwan was born on 15 May 1877. Served as an officer in 2nd Battalion Royal Fusiliers and the 95th Company, 24th Battalion Imperial Yeomanry (Metropolitan Mounted Rifles) and as a Trooper in Kitchener’s Horse. First three clasps on Q.S.A. confirmed. With copied roll extracts.
