Archibald Eric William Tyrrell was born in Dover on 18 July 1900 - his father was a senior N.C.O. in the Suffolk Regiment. Archibald Tyrrell followed his father into the Suffolks and as a Bandsman he was appointed a Lance-Corporal in February 1927; Corporal in March 1930 and Sergeant in February 1936. Awarded the L.S. & G.C. Medal in 1933. Retiring c.1938/39, he became a Storekeeper with Counties Lubricant Co, Soham, Cambridgeshire. He died in 1953. With some copied notes.
