Medals to three brothers:

8/250 Private Henry John McNatty, Otago Regiment was killed in action in Gallipoli on 6 August 1915, aged 25 years. His name is commemorated on the Chunuk Bair Memorial, Gallipoli.

Serjeant Walter Ernest McNatty, 4th Field Ambulance, New Zealand Medical Corps died of wounds in France on 13 October 1917, aged 22 years. He was buried in the St. Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen.

The above two were the sons of John and Hannah McNatty of 72 East Road, Invercargill. Research with the lot indicates that two other brothers were serving in the war - Albert and Frank.
