Irwin Armstrong was born in Irvinestown, Co. Fermanagh, and enlisted into the 40th at Enniskillen on 10 May 1813. He also served in North America and at Waterloo, and was discharged on 13 October 1829, in consequence of an ulcerated leg and general debility. Sold with copied discharge papers.
