Great Britain, Football: Inter Theatre of War Championship, 1919, a gold award medal by F. Phillips, Britannia standing with spear and shield, indicating Great Britain on a globe, gun and ordnance below, reverse wreath, inscribed (Association Football, Winning Team), 51mm, 73.33gm; together with British Expeditionary Force, c.1914, a silver award medal by Vaughtons for Recreational Training, inscribed (Assn. F’ball Team, Inter-Theatre of War-Comp.), 41mm; British War and Victory Medals (67 Spr. A. Campbell, R.E.) [4]. Service medals heavily discoloured, football medals very fine and better, second with ring suspension, an interesting group worthy of further research; both football medals in original cases (£200-250)
