Great Britain, London: Ranelagh Golf Club, Barn Elms [Hammersmith], a group of four silver and two bronze award medals by Waterlow & Sons Ltd, crossed clubs and golf balls, reverse elm tree in parkland setting, scroll below, one named (Sir William Russell, 4:1:02), all 28mm. [6]. All brilliant and practically as struck, with clips and rings for suspension; all in fitted cases of issue (£200-250)

All by direct descent from Russell’s sister, whose husband owned Stokesay Court, Salop; from the sale of the contents of Stokesay, Sept. 1994. An un-named 18ct gold medal (since stolen) was also included in the sale.
