Great Britain, Yorkshire Numismatic Society, 1959, a silver award medal by Vaughton, white rose from the obverse of the Society’s Golden Jubilee medal, reverse engraved (Awarded to Archdeacon C.O. Ellison for services to Numismatics), 45mm; Yorkshire NS Diamond Jubilee, 1969, a silver medal by Vaughton, similar, reverse legend, 45mm; British Numismatic Society, John Sanford Saltus Medal, 1910, by F. Bowcher, a striking in bronze, 45mm. [3]. Second brilliant and as struck, in official blue case, others very fine, last a trial striking (£40-60)

Archdeacon C.O. Ellison, a stalwart of the Yorkshire Numismatic Society, sold his coin collection to Spink in 1965; several of the pieces in it were included in the F.R. Cooper collection of hammered crowns auctioned in 1978
