France, Quatercentenary of the Lycée de Tournon, 1936, a large cast bronze medal by P.-M. Dammann, standing figure holding scroll and staff in front of a view of the River Rhône, buildings behind, reverse view of the lycée, 137mm. Extremely fine and attractively patinated, extremely rare; one of Dammann’s most impressive works (£150-200)
