France, Chambre Syndicale Bijouterie, Joaillerie et Orfèvrerie de Paris, 1901, a silver award plaque by C. Lefèvre (after J.-B. Daniel-Dupuis), females admiring jewellery, reverse legend, named (Cours du Jour, 1ère Année, 1 Premier Prix et Second Prix, Henri Boyère, 1910), 52 x 45mm (cf. PBE 318; cf. BDW 5, 29). About extremely fine; in original blue fitted case of issue (£60-80)

The original design for this plaque was by Daniel-Dupuis, but after his tragic murder in November 1899, a number of his outstanding works were completed by other artists, including Camille Lefèvre
