D.S.M. London Gazette 15 May 1945: ‘For gallantry, perseverance and devotion to duty in minesweeping operations under enemy fire in the Adriatic.’

London Gazette 14 June 1945. Seedies roll states that he was serving aboard B.Y.M.S. 2056 for both awards.
