The Order of the British Empire, M.B.E. (Military) 2nd type, in Royal Mint case of issue; 1914-15 Star (J.4373 L.S., R.N.); British War and Victory Medals (Gnr., R.N.); 1939-45 Star; Africa Star; Pacific Star; together with six miscellaneous prize medals, comprising, silver (3); bronze (3), three named to recipient; original Central Chancery transmission document for M.B.E.; all contained in an old military tailor’s tin box, the outer lid with brass name plate and crest with inscription ‘Matthews & Co. Outfitters, Portsea’, generally nearly extremely fine (13) £120-150
