Roy Charles Mellier was a member of the Citizen Military Force and served as a Bombardier in the Royal Australian Artillery, before enlisting as a member of the distinguished Australian Army Training Team, Vietnam, and served with the A.A.T.T.V. in Vietnam from 29 June to 28 October 1971. This was the most highly decorated unit to serve in Vietnam and was frequently involved in clandestine operations, winning no fewer than four Victoria Crosses and numerous other decorations. Sold with full confirmation of his A.A.T.T.V. service.
