Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 3 clasps, Cape Colony, Transvaal, Wittebergen (Capt. & Adjt., Leins. Rgt.); King’s South Africa 1901-02, 2 clasps (Major, Leins. Rgt.); 1914-15 Star (Major, Leins. R.); British War and Victory Medals (Major) all five medals contained in an attractive contemporary velvet lined fitted display case, with hinged double doors to front, and retractible stand to back, first two medals with some contact wear and edge bruising, about very fine, trio nearly extremely fine (5) £300-350

Lieutenant Colonel F. R. Dugan served as Adjutant to the 1st Battalion, Leinster Regiment during the Boer War from 18 April 1900 to 22 March 1902 (Despatches London Gazette 10 September 1901). Sold with copy m.i.c. showing ‘eligible for S.W.B.’
