Worshipful Company of Musicians Prize Medal, an attractive struck silver medal, 55mm, obversewith classical figure holding a harp, the reverse with arms of company and inscribed ‘Presented by the Worshipful Company of Musicians of London, Founded 1604’, engraved on the edge ‘B.H. Brown, A.R.C.M., 2nd Bn. The South Staffs. Regt.’; with its companion wearing miniature, in silver, 23mm, the two pieces contained in original Royal Mint fitted case of issue, the outer lid embossed ‘Presented to B.H. Brown, A.R.C.M., 2nd Battn. South Staffs. Regt. by the Worshipful Company of Musicians, 27th October 1936’; together with another struck silver medallion, 45mm, obverse with harp and inscribed ‘Royal Military School of Music, Kneller hall’, the reverse engraved ‘Choral Prize 1934 Student B.H. Brown, 2nd Bn., The South Staffordshire Regiment’, in Mappin & Webb fitted case of issue; one other unidentified named award, nearly extremely fine (4) £80-120
