Pelton, Great War Tribute Medal, in silver, 29mm, obverse with Britannia, and inscribed ‘For services rendered in the Great War 1914-1919’, the reverse inscribed ‘With the Pelton owners appreciation’, additionall engraved ‘Pte. Robt. Haigh’, with double loop suspension, nearly very fine £35-45

Pelton is a small mining village in Durham. Presumably the issuer of this medal was the owner of the mine at Pelton.
