48 Egypt clasps to the 12th Light Dragoons, 28 as single clasp medals.

Arthur Renwick was born in the Parish of Stonehouse, near Hamilton, Lanarkshire. He served for a few months in the Lanarkshire Fencible Cavalry before enlisting for the 12th Royal Lancers, at Hamilton, on 25 March 1800. He served in Egypt in 1801, and at the battle of Waterloo in 1815. During his service he was a Corporal for nearly four years and a Sergeant for 4 months, but was discharged to Pension in the rank of Private, on 18 November 1817, being ‘old, worn out and no longer fit for the service.’ Sold with copy discharge papers.
