72nd Regiment (Duke of Albany’s Own Highlanders), a very rare and magnificent officer’s gilt and silver glengarry/bonnet badge (pattern as for KK535), the central silver ‘72’ mounted and all scrolls pinned through the top one with gilt ‘mirror-back’, two very long loop fasteners, the left hand furled scroll end detached from the thistle head, otherwise excellent condition £300-500
