The King’s Own Borderers, an extremely fine and rare officer’s QVC star pattern helmet plate 1881-1887, gilt star, Garter Proper and laurel overlays with a silver Edinburgh Castle in the centre on a black velvet backing, below, a silver scroll, ‘THE KING’S OWN BORDERERS’ (Bloomer p25/26), two star finials with minor distortions otherwise near mint condition £300-400
