Black Watch (Royal Highlanders), a very fine officer’s glengarry badge c1881-1901, solid silver star (not HM) with silver and gilt overlays, retailed by Kirkwoods of Edinburgh (Bloomer p67/68); together with a similar badge to a Senior NCO, white metal star with all-gilt overlays except St Andrew which is white metal (2), one of the four long silver loop fasteners missing on the first item, and the gilt sections rubbed on the second item, otherwise excellent overall condition £100-150

This lot was sold as part of a special collection, Scottish Badges from the Collection of the late Arthur Strutt.
