1st (Dunfermline) Fifeshire Rifle Volunteers, a very fine and rare officer’s die-stamped silver plated shako badge, c1860-1878, a three towered church, from the Seal of the Town, over script capitals ‘FVR’ with the motto, ‘VIGILANDO MUNIO’ on a scroll at the base; similar to the pouch badge but with lug fasteners, mint condition £150-200
