Richard III (1483-1485), Three Crowns coinage, Groat, Dublin, 1.84g/8h (S 6412; DF 176-8). Slightly small of flan and part of legends flat, otherwise about very fine, rare £600-800

Only the ri of ricar is legible of the coin. However it is from the same pair of dies as DNW Auction 68, lot 939, on which ar rex was visible (note the damaged fleurs on the obverse shield and the distinctive die flaw running between the bottom two crowns)
