The original Wolmer's School was established in Kingston in 1695, the second oldest in the Caribbean. It now consists of a Pre-School, Prep School and separate Boy’s and Girl’s High Schools. The 6-day Miami to Montego Bay yacht race in March 1967 was won by a Dr Neumann of the New York Athletic Club
