Allison, Solo Singing, 1922; Evelyn Urwin, 1st Prize, Operatic Dancing, April 1929), 36 x 20mm, 33 x 25mm; YORKSHIRE, Halifax Competitive Musical Festival, a silver award medal by Rose, Halifax, named (Contralto Solo, Open, Alice Deverell), hallmarked Birmingham 1926, 29mm; Leeds College of Music, a silver award medal by W.J. Dingley, named (Under the Patronage of Her Majesty Queen Alexandra, Awarded to Edith Sargeant, Christmas 1904), hallmarked Birmingham 1904, 45mm (cf. DNW M10, 1417); Sheffield Musical Competition, a silver award medal, unsigned, named (A.W. Sargent, Conductor, York Monkgate Methodist Choir, October 1935), hallmarked ci&co Sheffield 1935, 38mm; Eskdale Tournament of Song, Whitby, a silver-gilt award medal by Toye & Co, named (Pianoforte, M. Jenkinson, April 1928), hallmarked Birmingham 1926, 26mm [6]. Leeds virtually as struck, with clip, ring, original ribbon and silver suspender bar, in red fitted case of issue by Z. Barraclough & Sons, Goldsmiths, 54 Briggate & Commercial St, Leeds; others very fine, all except Sheffield with clips and rings for suspension £60-80
