Private Arthur Hedges, 2nd Battalion Otago Regiment, N.Z.E.F., died/was killed on 4 October 1916, aged 35 years. He was buried at St. Sever Cemetery, Rouen. He was the son of James and Maria Hedges of Kilburn, London.

A note with the lot states, ‘D.O.W. 4/10/16 Battle of Transloy Ridge’.
