Thomas Connor Guy was born on 20 March 1945. He enlisted into the 8th Battalion Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders (T.A.) on 14 August 1962 and was discharged on 21 January 1963 on joining the Regular Army. With the 1st Battalion he served January 1963-February 1968, seeing service in Singapore, Borneo and Aden. After leaving the Regular Army in 1968 he rejoined the T.A. in June 1981, serving with the Royal Signals, being discharged in 1983. With loose clasps ‘South Arabia’ and ‘Malay Peninsula’ and copied service notes.
