Roty for Susse Frès, naked figure of Venus seated, bandaging the foot of a wounded Amour who sits on her lap, wreath around, 175mm (Roty Compagnonnage p.88; cf. Coll. R. Marx 31; BDM IV, 243). Most attractive, extremely fine and very rare; mounted on a frame backed with green baize, with loops for suspension on the back (£150-200)
