Crawford Wilson was born in Gourock, Renfrewshire and lived and enlisted at Glasgow. Serving with the 5th Battalion Cameron Highlanders, he died of wounds, France/Flanders, 17 July 1916, aged 23 years. He was buried in the La Neuville British Cemetery, Corbie. He was the son of Alexander Simpson Wilson and Agnes Welch Wilson of Largs, Ayrshire.
