The Royal Victorian Medal, Silver, G.V.R.; Jubilee 1935; Coronation 1937; France, Medaille d’Honneur (2), silver-gilt and silver issues; Denmark, King’s Medal of Recompense, Christian X, gilt; Norway, King’s Commemoration Medal, Haakon VII, gold; Belgium, Royal Household Medal, Leopold III, silver-gilt, generally very fine (8) £500-600

Thomas Edward Walter Tubbs was awarded the silver Royal Victorian Medal during the reign of Edward VII in June 1936, and is verified on the relevant rolls for his Jubilee and Coronation Medals; sold with original certificate of award for his French Medal of Honour in silver, inscribed to ‘Monsieur Trubbs, Thomas, Sujet Britannique, Valet de Pied a Buckingham Palace’, and dated 3 January 1920.
