M.M. London Gazette 11 May 1917.

Pioneer William Brough, Royal Engineers entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 20 August 1915. Awarded the Military Medal for bravery in the field as an Acting Corporal serving with the Carrier Pigeon Service R.E. As a Corporal he was discharged to Class Z Reserve on 22 February 1919. Entitled to the 1914-15 Star trio. With copied m.i.c. and gazette extract.
